I currently live in Red Deer, Alberta.
I plan on traveling and visit Vancouver, BC from Friday, August 10 to Friday, September 14, 2018
and I am looking for a host. I will leave Red Deer, Alberta on Friday, August 9.
I will be traveling around Vancouver island until August 30, 2018, then possibly cross over to Washington.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I have lived in Montreal, Canada for almost three years now, I am just beginning to explore other cities for better work and network opportunities. I am currently in Calgary until July 26 and would appreciate to make new friends and be hosted for a night or two.
I was trained in the field of Clinical Psychology, studied graduate work in France but I have moved on and changed field recently, in Immigration Consulting. I may extend my travel to cross over to Washington state for a week. I like chatting about travels, a bit about politics and the economy - but nothing too sensitive. I grew up in Malaysia, went to school in France and the USA.

I have yet to do anything amazing, at least I am not aware of yet...

Teach, Learn, Share

I love creativity and learning new art forms. I paint, draw and print 'batiks" - traditional Malaysian textile prints and motifs, and have shared that in my Montreal community. Sometimes, they make "sarongs" out of it.
