Overview
About Me
I grew up in South Carolina but am currently studying Environmental Policy at the University of Cambridge. I promise I won't rant to you about climate change unless you also want to join in and think a group vent session would be cathartic.
I love doing anything outside and that's one of the main reasons I'm interested in conservation: hiking, climbing, camping, cooking, reading, walking, breathing - Love doing it all outdoors. I also love meeting new people and sharing old experiences. Listening to people's life stories and exploring new places with new friends is a great way to learn.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My friends and fellow couch surfers have been enthusiastic proponents of this community and inspired me to become a member as well. I have already enjoyed the experience of contributing as a host as well as being able to travel in a new way and am excited for new friends and future adventures.
Travel is not worth anything if you don't explore the culture. Not the tourist traps that claim to be authentic, but life through the perspective of a native is the most genuine and exciting way to discover new places.
