I am currently a graduate student at ASU studying art education. I enjoy teaching students of all ages but I plan to become a professor. I love seeing and experiencing new things and enjoy meeting and getting to know new people. I am passionate about experiencing new and different cultures. I am an am amateur cook, and hope to learn new recipes and share the ones I already know with the people I meet.

Many people travel and end up staying in hotels and on resorts but never truly experience the places and countries they visit because they stay in their comfort zones. I want to gain perspective from people who work and live in the cities and places I visit. A tour guide will show you things you can look up on google, but the best experiences I have had traveling I have had with regular people like going to the local dive bar or eating from someone's favorite food cart.

I love creating and viewing art, long boarding, snowboarding, hiking, disk golfing, swimming, brewing beer, cooking, and traveling. I love creating all types of art, but jewelry, abstract painting, and photography are my favorites.

I enjoy a wide range of music, but my favorite is alternative rock from the 90's. My favorite artists are Modest Mouse, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Beatles, Grace Potter, System of a Down, Bassnectar, Daft Punk, Bob Dylan, Sublime, CCR, and MGMT to name a few. I love any movies made by Quentin Tarantino or Robert Rodriguez, and Rob Zombie. Hunter S Thompson is my favorite writer. I am currently reading the last book from the Game of Thrones.

My signature dishes that I can teach are banana cake with cream cheese frosting, stir fry, Special K loaf, and guacamole. I can also teach you how to prepare a potato a thousand different ways! I would like to learn your favorite dish! And I love sharing different recipes and cooking techniques.
