About Me

Hi! I'm Audrey and I work in theater and Arts administration. I'm a life long New Yorker (Brooklyn specifically) but I did spend about 6 months living in Berlin as a student in 2015. I've travelled within Europe and North America but I hope to visit South America, Asia, Africa and Australia someday too! I'm always happy to meet new people and get to know the history of an area. Send me a message to ask anything you'd like :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Book: The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
Fave Music types: Soul, Funk, RnB, Indie, Jazz, Rock, Folk
Favorite Movies: Ahh so many to choose from! The ones I saw this year that i really liked were Boyhood and Birdman. Little Miss Sunshine has a special place in my heart, and I'm a sucker for the classics (Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, Singing in the Rain)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watched the sunrise on the beach (I know, kind of lame but definitely one of my favorite memories.)

Rafting on the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia was pretty fun/amazing

Oh also had my uncle get so mad once about missing a flight that they turned the plane around for us!

Teach, Learn, Share

Things I could teach: Knitting, Sewing, Crafts, Tap Dancing, Ballet
Things I want to learn: Everything! Well more specifically a second language (I'm working on German) how to do a proper push-up, how to draw/paint, how to be more spontaneous (which includes not looking at my phone/email/computer so much!)

I want to know more about the world and the people living in it! Everyone's experience is their own and we have so much to learn from that.
