Overview
About Me
I am a 26-year-old female from California who is currently getting my Masters in Food Security at the University of Edinburgh. I studied abroad in South Africa in my undergrad then lived in Melbourne, Australia for a year and a half after graduating. After that, I backpacked Southeast Asia then lived in San Francisco working at an environmental consulting company. I love travelling and nature, meeting new people and new experiences. I really care about the environment and living in a more sustainable and ethical world. I'm very easygoing and adventurous. I've bungee jumped and skydived!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm Couchsurfing because I usually stay at hostels, which has been a very fun experience, but I would like to try something new. I have heard great reviews about Couchsurfing from my friends and they told me it was a better way to learn about a city from the locals rather than meeting other travellers from around the world (I mean, which is awesome too, though!). And then I can return the favour, which I think is a really cool thing!

Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you about Food Security! Hah! Hah! Generally, no one knows what that is... I also know a lot about good recycling and pro-environmental behaviours you can implement in your home to be more eco-friendly :)))
What I Can Share with Hosts
A meal, some drinks, fun stories, silly stories (I'm full of 'em as I am very forgetful and lose everything and that tends to make for ridiculous stories), maybe a couch in the future!
