I'm currently traveling around South America for about a year and have already gone through Brazil, French Guiana, Suriname and Guyana.
I love to travel, of course, and I feel the best way to travel is meeting and getting to know the local people in each country - it is the meaningful connections you make that you remember the most from traveling!

I have volunteered and stayed with local families in different countries around the world, while doing work on permaculture farms and different environmental and humanitarian organizations such as the UN World Food Programme.

I am passionate about environmental issues and sustainable agriculture, and I am mindful and compassionate. I really enjoy communal living situations and being able to give back in any way I can to my hosts. I am always willing to help with anything you may need and more than ready to go on an impromptu adventure with you!

I speak English, French and Spanish, and a few phrases of Portuguese.

I have stayed with 8 different hosts in 3 different countries, though it doesn't show on my profile as I sometimes stayed with my boyfriend through his profile.

I really have the Couchsurfing spirit - couchsurfing has brought me the most amazing and unforgettable experiences and I can't imagine traveling without it!

Meeting local people and connecting with them is my reason for traveling, and the experience is always unique and memorable.
