About Me

The following is what I wrote when I was 16, when I created my CS profile and traveled solo for the first time.
Now that I'm 24, i have to admit it's still the best description of myself I've ever done....

« We travel to seek, but to escape as well. Seeking ourselves overseas, where we have nothing to hold onto, no expectations to satisfy. Where there are no boundaries, where the frontiers aren't barriers, where fellow travelers are teachers. They teach you who you are, introducing you to your limits. I travel to escape something, something I still can't describe. I travel to seek who I am; a question to which I knew the answer before I left for the first time. But since I tasted the feeling of pushing my souls where it has never been before, the feeling of letting the music be my heart pulse, since elsewhere means now home, I am constantly on the search of the real me. Someone I thought I knew but I've been wrong about for so long. I'd rather spend years exploring myself, then even more exploiting someone I don't know. But by the end, where have I been? Since I left home, coming, going? Have I got any closer to the answer? Obviously, my mind has seen more than my eyes did. I understood that freedom is a spiritual state. I realized that on my quest to myself, I tried also to quest others, but I lost my soul at the task. Now that my head is full and my heart is empty, I am only waiting to find a reason to stay. Until then, when someone asks me ''When will you stop travelling?'' I answer without doubts, but full of wonders, ´´The day I will find my limits, but as of now, It still feels out of reach

My way to go:
Never refuse an invitation, never resist the temptation, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome. Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience.

What my dad thought me as I was a kid:
« Do whatever you want, the way you want. Do it for yourself. Do not judge others. And screw the ones who judge you in return »
Love you dad :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have surfed over 15 countries of this beautiful world, met dozens of great host and CS companions; They have all changed the way i see the world. No matter where I go, the people I met have always been the best part of the trip, and the best memories I bring back home.

I will never forget my host Sally, which I stayed at her place in Alaska... in 2012.
And, we still write once in a while. We had such good conversations, she was the mom I've always dreamt to have. Then, she became my lifelong writing pal.
(Still accurate in 2019!)

Interests

Of course, I share the same interest as many traveler: Beautiful landscapes, learning about different cultures & meeting new people, photography, hicking/camping/outdoors, music festivals &; solo adventures

Besides, i'm the one that is amazed at the glance of a tall tree, or a bright color flower, or when I feel the breeze on my face... I get amazed by the simplest things ever...
Plus, I'm obssessed by the moon
