About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find a Volunteer International Experience (VIE) in the US!
ABOUT ME
Easy going French into adventures!
I'm a French business international student, currently working on my thesis in La Rochelle...
I will graduate in June 2011 and planning then hopefully to go to the US to work with Airbus as a VIE, or go back to China to learn some more of Chinese at the Beijing Cultural and Language Uni.
Have to get back to France by the end of January 2011 for at least four months to finish my studies and the plan is then to find a job and get back to Vancouver!! Yihaaa!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've done a little of surfing in Beijing and loved it! Then hosted a couple of couchsurfers at my place in Xi'an...
And when I got to Vancouver stayed at Scott's for two weeks and by chance, we eventually ended up roommates!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I directly flew from China to Vancouver and then needed a place to stay for a few days, time for me to find an accommodation. Unfortunately - or fortunately! - it took much more time than expected and I ended up staying about 2 weeks at my couchsurfer's...
I guess I can say Scott and I got pretty well along with each other, he introduced me to Van way of life, his roomies and to a bunch of good pals of him, who are now good friends of mine.
When one month - and a terrible shared apartment experienced - later I started looking for another shared house I found by chance an add for a room I thought not far from Scott's. I didn't know I was actually about to visit the place I've been staying at two weeks, one month before...
Was just sooo happy when I finally figured out I was going to live at my ex-couchsurfer shared house!
Loved this house and its people, and will see them on next summer, when it gets a bit warmer in Van. :)
