About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To collect as many travel anecdotes to tell my future sons, daughters and grandchildren!

ABOUT ME

I'm Audrey from the Philippines but currently based in Doha for work.

I'm happy-go-lucky, and pretty much out there. I've had people tell me I'm difficult to read but I beg to differ. I have this un-erasable grin on my face which is a by-product of so many good things I come across everyday (and the sum of all days past). I like making people laugh as much as laughing myself silly is some sort of a trademark for me.

Sun and water are my two best friends. I like my toothbrush electric, sheets ironed, cereals without sugar, my hair uncombed, cheeks exercised.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm on Couchsurfing because there's no better way to travel than through people.

Interests

Travel, photography, languages, laughing, learning and trying out new things, children, beaches, stuffing my face with food, and on rare but precious occasions, doing nothing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I usually have this habit of forgetting the plots of movies I see. I'd like to think that the reason for that is having the privilege of seeing them over and over like it were the first time. But some of the few that stuck are View from the Top, The Holiday, Definitely Maybe, The Pianist, and Four Feathers. And books? I rarely read. But I recently read A Thousand Splendid Suns and books like it are right up my alley. Spanish music, Bossa Nova and Jazz are what's streaming on my phone most of the time.
