About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, Travel, Travel!

ABOUT ME

Hey!! So, a little about me...

I was born in St. Jerome, Quebec and lived there until the age of 7. My family and I then moved to Qingdao, China where we lived for 4 years. Though I was young, those 4 years played a large role in shaping the person that I am today. After this, we moved to Waterloo, Belgium where we stayed for 6 years. Most of my adolescent years were spent there and some of my fondest memories, I had a blast living in Europe and I miss it. I then decided to come back home for University. I spent 6 months travelling around South America and then moved to London, England for work. I lived in London for a year, working in a special needs school there, loved every second of it. Now I am back in Montreal, working as a special needs teacher at a wonderful school.

My boyfriend and I are about to go on our first trip together... and we're off to Hawaii!! Can't wait!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Its impossble to pick just one!

Climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro

I have recently had the amazing opportunity to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. This is the highest freestanding mountain in the world, and the highest mountain in Africa. Most amazing experience of my life.
This was a 5 day journey and every step of the way was more amazing than the next. It was not an easy ride, but it was beyond worth it. I was joined by my father and my brother, and we had a couple with us in the group. We turned out to be a very fun group and motivated each other all the way to the summit!!

Going skydiving

A group of us spontaneously decided over some drinks that we were going to do it, and a week later we were all jumping out of that airplane. Amazing experience, nothing like it!

Slip and slide during hurricane Irene

We had talked all summer about going to do slip and slide on a rainy day and it never happened, until the ultimate rainy day arrived (none other than hurricane Irene) when we got it together and went slip and slidding. Lots of fun!

Backpacking through South America

An unforgettable experience that took me from Argentina, through Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and finally, to Colombia. With an amazing friend and travel buddy, we saw unreal things and met epic people.
