I am a fun loving traveling feen. I got the travel bug from my older cousins when I was about 10 years old. They were doing the peace core and doctors beyond borders, making the idea of seeing the world something I couldn't live with out. In my college years I lived in Hamburg, Germany for six months. Since I graduated I wanted to travel again so here I am going everywhere. In six months I will have almost been to all the continents in the world. I love meeting new people and learning different languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am doing couchsuring because I believe it is a great and inexpensive way to travel. This organization really provides a win, win situation for both the surfers and the host. I think couchsurfing is a great way to promote positive relationships with in the global community.

Interests

I have many things that I enjoy doing but my favorite past time would be skating. I played roller derby for 4 years and I wish I could be a professional roller derby player!! I also love creating art. I got my bachelor in Studio Art, so it has always been a passion and loved pass time. Any activity that is physically engaging is probably something that I would enjoy, so I would also have to say traveling is right up there on my list!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have some amazing and fun things in my life. This year 2015 I have taught English at two different schools in Nepal. It was one of the most challenging and rewarding things I have ever done. I have been a camp counselor for Camp Reach for the Sky on 2010. I have spoken on the behalf of Children Hospital at Costco fundraising events, the most recent in 2013.

I can share any advise I have to give on teaching, public speaking, account management, and art. I am more than willing to share any other information about my travels or my life.
