I'm a redheaded ball of silliness and I love puns! I am an avid fan of music and reading, and I enjoy playing soccer and doing puzzles, and on the average weekend I will be hiking, attending conferences, reading or watching copious amounts of Netflix. I am an aspiring environmental lawyer, but for now I'm just trying to see where the wind will take me next!

I love traveling, meeting new people, and eating new food! Honestly, I love food and anything involving new cuisines or new ways of cooking are fascinating to me. I'm enjoy meeting new people, and I'm very bubbly and vocal. I feel as though I make fast friendships with diverse people, which is something I feel this program can help facilitate!

Music, Movies, and Books

I typically really enjoy listening to The Beatles, Neutral Milk Hotel, R.E.M., Simon and Garfunkel, Beach House and various "folksy" artists who I can move around to! Some days I really enjoy watching movies that will make me cry - I'm a sucker for emotions - but I can always get behind a good thriller or mystery. That's not to say that I enjoy scary movies (because I don't) but I love movies that make you work to figure out the plot. I believe that it's a kind of torture to make someone list their favorite book, so I will tell you that right now I'm reading Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I'm about a quarter of the way in, and it's a very good read!
