To experience the world with as much gusto and compassion as I can muster.

ABOUT ME

I am a much more introverted person than I wish I were, but love to meet new people, play music (guitar, mandolin, piano, etc.), and discuss philosophy, religion, etc (I've tended to define myself by intellectualism before, though I'm trying to gravitate away from that a bit). I am very difficult to surprise, and like to think of myself as compassionate and accommodating.

PHILOSOPHY

The closest thing to an absolute philosophy I ascribe to is that of non-violence. Rooting out and subverting coercion in all of its forms, especially as directed toward the self.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to be traveling quite a bit soon, and absolutely love the idea of couchsurfing about the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I and some of my friends once hosted a young Estonian gentleman for a couple of days, and it was quite positive.

兴趣

Cooking, hiking, playing music, learning and using new languages, providing a compassionate ear and, perhaps, voice for people who are hurting, adventures, discussing spirituality and its implications, unsettling assumptions and finding beauty in unlikely places.
