About Me
Hello! My name is Audric, a young graduate on the search for just a little.. inspiration! I just graduated this last year from high school and I have decided to take a gap year to travel around and meet all types of new people and cultures. I love meeting new people and understanding they're point of views, it's honestly a passion of mine.
I am also very easy going so it is easy to tell me really anything. I also firmly believe that respect is one of the biggest things in life, so I always respect people's space and always ask before doing something. I also really like to make people feel happy and welcomed, so I will usually go out of my way to help others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing for a number of reasons;
1st: I find it an easy way to meet other travelers and other hosts throughout the country.
2nd: It also makes me feel like i am not "Winging it" while I travel to places i don't know.
3rd: I learn so much about the culture and the surrounding area, making me feel I fit in a little better

Music, Movies, and Books
While I was growing up I listened to a lot of Grateful Dead and Sublime. As i grew older i got really big into old school rock and hip-hop of all things haha.
I don't quite have a favorite book but recently have been reading a lot of science and technology articles and other educational things like that.
And as far as Movies I have never been big into them.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled this last summer to Mexico where I saw many ruins and met amazing people, almost overly nice people haha. From there I traveled south to Guatemala where I stayed at Lake Atitlan, which was surrounded by active volcanoes in the highland jungle. After that I traveled East to the Belizean Caribbean and stayed there for about a week.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I believe that you can learn something new from everyone.. Good or bad. At my farm in Oregon We accept Couchsurfers and WWOOF'ers so we get a variety of people living there. I have learned many random things from the different people who've lived here. The farm I live on is a mushroom farm as well so i'm pretty knowledgeable about mycology, and i'd love to spread my knowledge! :)
