About Me

If you are reading this I'm most likely asking to stay at your place for a night or two, which means that I have finally made my first step to exploring the world (yyyyaaaaaaayyyyyy) or you are one of my friends which i asked to write me a reference, and if I did, please give me a sincere one! To tell you something about myself, I'm just a simple guy, who wants to travel, have some fun and not much else. At the moment I work as a programmer(mainly scraping) and am planning my hitchhiking trip(from Corfu in Greece back to Lithuania in 3 weeks starting from May 24 2023). I'm open minded, want to know more about different cultures, hear some cool stories, tell some, play fun board games, see as much as I can, live as much as I can. Some time ago, I calculated the minimum amount of money I would need to travel the world for my whole life (it was about 600k euros). The plan is to buy a camper and just drive around exploring whatever I please, so it would be really cool to find a briefcase with a million or so, but till then I'm here, couchsurfing. Feel free to contact me regarding any questions. See ya!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To find some fun people to spend time with!

Interests

I have plenty of hobbies, including basketball, travelling, board games, video games and hiking. Most of my travels were on Erasmus+ projects. I've been on 20+ of them and loved every single one. My favorite book is “The forest of Gods” written by Balys Sruoga. Of all these, I’d have to say basketball is my biggest passion, as I went to a basketball academy for over 5 years. I love traveling and even though I live on quite a tight budget, I find ways to explore new places, either with Erasmus+ projects or by hitchhiking. I have volunteered in numerous events all around Lithuania. Every week I attend at least one so called “Brainfight”, or table quiz, in other words. These let me put my knowledge and logic to task. I also love watching movies and TV series, but this hobby of mine is way too time-consuming, that’s why I try to limit it as much as possible.

Music, Movies, and Books

Not sure how to describe my music taste, but I guess I could call it "mood dependant". Sometimes I'm a listening to some rock, like Lordi, sometimes im sitting in a field listening to lemon tree, yellow submarine or any other calm music. To tell you the truth, love all kinds of music, from singing poetry to.... wait, right those songs you can only hear someone screaming, super black metal or how is it called, not my cup of tea.
Talking about tv series, at the moment i'm watching American Gods, Black mirror, GOT, Rick and Morty, Lucifer and these are just a few newer ones. If I would have to pick my top 3 it would be Oz, Black mirror and House MD.
Movies I watch are mostly sci-fi, comedy and mindfucks. My favourite actor is Edward Norton, Now you are wondering who the hell Edward Norton is, right? He's the guy from Fight club. No, not that one..... that one is Brad Pitt, the other one. I can't really make my top list on movies, because I will, for sure, forget to include something. I liked The prestige, The illusionist, Hancock, Fight club, Zombieland, Deadpool, pirates of the Caribbean, these are just a few I now thought of.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
