I was born to a Norwegian mom and Indian dad who grew up in New York, but I'm currently living in Elverum, Norway attending a "folk high school" before I head off to McGill University in fall 2016. I love traveling and meeting people and I hope to travel to as many countries as possible and experience their unique cultures

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I found Couchsurfing while attending folk high school in Norway, and have used it for my backpacking adventures while at the school. I've met several amazing people on my trips, so I continue to use Couchsurfing to visit more incredible cities and meet great new people

Interests

My one true love is my skis. I have skied basically all my life, and I'd probably consider myself a bit of a ski bum. I follow politics pretty closely, and I'm always up for a passionate discussion. I was part of my schools Model UN team, and as such I'm very interested in the world, whether it be international relations or just learning about a country. I love music, listening as well as playing. I play the piano passionately and the saxophone passively. One day I'll finally get around to learning the guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band at the moment is probably the english group Alt-J, but I'm also into M83, Portugal. The Man, Jungle, Jet, The Wombats, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Saint Motel, and The xx, among others

I don't know that I have a singular favorite movie, but I really love the Star Wars trilogies, most things made by Pixar, Lord of the Rings, Memento, most Tarantino, Good Will Hunting etc. As for TV shows, my favorites are Sherlock, Doctor Who, Parks and Rec, Community, Suits
