PHILOSOPHY
.
"Be the change you want to see in the world"
(Mahatma Gandhi)
~~~~~
To see a world in a grain of sand,
And a heaven in a wild flower,
Hold infinity in the palm of your hand,
And eternity in an hour.
(William Blake)
~~~~~
It doesnât interest me how old you are.
I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool
For love
For your dream
For the adventure of being alive.
It doesnât interest me where or what or with whom
You have studied.
I want to know what sustains you
From the inside
When all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone
With yourself
And if you truly like the company you keep
In the empty moments.
I want to know if you can see Beauty
Even when it is not pretty
Every day.
And if you can source your own life
From its presence.
(Oriah)

Once upon a time, there was a man named Rudy Revolvin. He lived a painful and tragic life. He died unfulfilled and went to the dark place.
The Ruler of Darkness, seeing that Rudy was an adult child, felt he could add to the darkness by giving Rudy a chance to live his life over again. The Ruler of Darkness had a mission to continue the darkness - even to make it darker if he could. He told Rudy that he had no doubt that Rudy would make exactly the same mistakes all over again and experience the exact same tragedy as before!
He then gave Rudy one week to make up his mind.
Rudy thought long and hard. It became obvious to him that the Ruler of Darkness was tricking him. Of course he would make the same mistakes, because he would be deprived of the memories of what he had gone through in his previous life. Without such memories he would have no way of avoiding his errors.
When he finally appeared before the ruler, he refused the offer.
The Ruler of Darkness, knowing the "secret" of the wounded inner child, was undaunted by Rudy's refusal. He told him that, contrary to the usual policy, Rudy would be permitted to remember everything about his past life. The Ruler of Darkness knew that even with such memories, Rudy would still make exactly the same mistakes and have to suffer his painful life all over again.
Rudy chuckled to himself. "Finally," he thought, "I'm getting a real break." Rudy knew nothing about the "secret" of the wounded inner child.
Sure enough, even though he could forsee in detail every disaster that he had formerly created, he did repeat his painful and tragic life.
The Ruler of Darkness was pleased!
