Just bopping around at this point. Geographic untetheredness has reached critical levels. Seriously considering the idea of "living somewhere" but paralyzed by the number of options.

UPDATE- I moved to Wisconsin. And my girlfriend loves it here. Jackpot.

We are located right on the isthmus walking distance from the Capitol & U.W.

In the meantime I split my life between sojourns abroad, running scientific field camps and airfields in Antarctica & Greenland and little trial runs in cities across America.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I managed to survive a few hours in -30 degree cold after a semi truck crash during an ice storm in very rural Wyoming before being rescued. It was a very unpleasant experience, and now that I think about it not very amazing.
