About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be

ABOUT ME

I'm on a constant search to better myself. I'm easy-going and outgoing and always going. I'm very passionate about a lot of things, especially following whims and finding adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

If it's meant to be, it'll happen.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have only couchsurfed once and hosted twice, and all of these experiences were fantastic! I'm looking to host whenever I can. Message me if you're interested in visiting Austin, TX and I will be more than happy to invite you into my home and show you around the city that I love very dearly.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing: The only couchsurfing experience I have had was amazing. I went with a bunch of friends to Valencia for Las Fallas (we stayed in Alberic) and it is ranked as one of the best weekends of my life thus far. Endless jam sessions, good food, good conversation; I could not have asked for better.
Hosting: I have only hosted two couchsurfers, but would love to host more often. I love meeting new people who are as thirsty for adventure as I am and love showing people a good, cheap, memorable time in Austin, TX.

Interests

Soccer, photography, volunteering, music (singing, guitar, piano, ukelele, kazoo. I am also in a Caribbean band, sometimes I write songs), traveling, tennis, reading, being outdoors, camping, windsurfing, surfing, dancing (salsa, merengue, chachacha, cumbia, swing, two-step), orange soda

Music: I lean towards indie folk rock, jazz, classic rock and punk rock music. I love 1920s-1940s music and 1980's one-hit wonders. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm going to pick my top three life moments off the top of my head, because I have a terrible memory, and could probably not do justice to the more amazing things I've seen or done.
1) Sitting on my favorite spot in my favorite beach in Aruba at midnight gazing at the moon and listening to the waves roll in
2) Day trip to Altea, Spain with some great friends. We drank free food and beer and wine courtesy of the festival going on. Then each bought a bottle of 2 euro wine and sat on the beach, being friends.
3) Ziplining through the rainforest in Costa Rica, then watching Volcán Arenal erupt
