Hi! My name is Augustas, but most friends call me Gus. I was born in Lithuania, but moved to England with my mum when I was 10 years old. I am a very adventurous person, and love seeing new places and experiencing new things. I am also an adrenaline junkie, and love things like mountain biking, rock climbing, parachute jumping, free & scuba diving and really anything else that involves experiencing everything that our planet has to offer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because of two reasons. One, there is so much that I want to see and experience but not enough money in my pockets to be able to stay in paid accommodation very often. And second reason is because there is no better way to learn about the culture and story of a country, city or a village than by spending time with the people who live there!

Music, Movies, and Books

As a graduate music student, and a starting musician I try and learn from and appreciate all sorts of music. I really like compositions by Hans Zimmer and John Williams, and enjoy listening to tropical & deep house, country, Folk, jazz, blouse, rock and psytrance, though my ears and heart are always open to new music!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I personally don't think I have accomplished anything amazing up to this point in my life. But I am hoping to one day be looked upto the same way that I now look upto some of my idles, like Hans Zimmer and other great composers.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach them some survival and camping skills, English and Lithuanian, some home recipes or even how to play a guitar!
