Hi, I’m Augustin ! I’m a 27 yo, I am Belgian and I am living in Brussels. I quit my job in July because in mid of September, I am leaving Europe to go abroad and live in South America, Argentina, in Buenos Aires.
I am not the type that talks a lot about my self but I guess it is part of the presentation :)
I do a lot of things during my time : working on visuals for my artistic collective ; seeing friends and family ; sport ; cooking and eating ; starting new projects ; learning new stuffs,…
Overall, I m a curious person, interesting by new culture, new knowledge, new experience etc.. you understood it, I love learning new things ! I m easy-going and open minded, also I like having good conversation :) Normally I get along with people quite easily.

If you are interested by my profession, I am working (actually, I was working) in data, mix between informatics and business/management. The architect is a good analogy of my job : I am the bridge between the informaticiens that can develop (in their own language) and the business (that have business needs), as the arthictect is between the builders, the trade, the engineers (with all their own language) and the client (that want to build a house).

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Among all the advantages of Couchsurfing, I would say it is to meet local people and to discover the country as a local (and not a tourist) ! In a more global point of view, I love meeting new people :)

Furthermore, after a year of travelling couchsurfing, I wanted to give back in a certain way, and receive people in my house, for every person who welcomed me during my travel.

兴趣

I love hanging out with my friends or playing and watching sports. I really like to learn new things. Recently I also discovered a new hobbie : VJING (like djing, which is disc jockey, vjing is video jockey). Basically, I am creating visual stuff or doing scenography for techno parties.

I listen a lot of electronic music and rap music but I like every type of music. If you can show me new type of music, it would be great !

Mon voyage en Amérique du Sud a été la chose la plus incroyable que j'ai jamais faite ! Je suis arrivée seule à Santiago du Chili, avec une seule auberge de jeunesse pour une semaine et sans parler espagnol... J'ai survécu et vécu de grandes expériences pendant 9 mois !
