Music, Movies, and Books

I know it can seem weird for somebody that studies film not to have a favourite film but I don't. When I think about it, there are too many great stuff I have watched and too many great actors and actresses to pick any of them.
But fine, ok, there is one that is special to me: Gladiator. When I was a kid this film was on a VHS tape and when I was ill I was going into my parents' bed all day and watched it over and over. I think I watched it more than 10 times. Not kidding.
I like all kind of Music and I am starting over reading books so I am open to any suggestions. So far Amélie Nothomb is the best writer I've read.
