ABOUT ME

I'm a modest, honest guy who try to bring some humour in the world although I'll always pay attention and respect to the people I meet. I really like to meet different people and to speak to them in their language if I'm abroad.

Just a phrase I saw in Salamanca which me gustaba mucho. It's great to discover new people, cultures and languages.

PHILOSOPHY

To respect everyone, to make people happy and to learn from all the people I'll meet during my journeys. And to have some fun! And of course my favourite Dutch proverb:'"It's better to have one bird in the hand than no hand." Or the story that the glass is always at least half-full ( or ready to be refilled!)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to Martin, Carlos and Carolina, I had some great first moments in Argentina and Uruguay. The first CS-experiences were very good so hope now to let other people enjoy the benefit of the CS-system! And to join others abroad too!
Fortunately Carlos came to Europe and I could host him for a couple of days. Great to show him around. And in the meantime I shared a lot of other good memories with CS people all around.

兴趣

Languages ( French, Spanish, Italian ), to read books, newspapers and magazines to practise those languages.
Nature, hiking, Arts, photography, theatre, culture in general, nice museums. I really love to go to small towns to see the local life over there.
Football!

I work as a journalist who tries to inform about culture and travelling for a newspaper and for a footballmagazine.
