I am Augusto Toia, Oenologist / Winemaker from Argentina. I am a passionate hardworking person, I love what I do and I believe that following our dreams is a way of life. I have always tried to follow the way that my hearth and intuition lead, perhaps it is not the easiest path but I like challenges and this is worth fighting for, I would definitely fight to get through it.

From January 15th, I will be working in a winery in Currency Creek South Australia for the harvest season. This will be the third time working at this company. I am currently looking for host around the area. I am a tidy, organized person and would take care of the place as it is my own. It is my idea to stay for 1 month if possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For studying my career i had to move to another state, from Córdoba to Mendoza, at the age of seventeen. The amazing thing i have done is to adapt my self to live around new pepole, new customs, and be far away from my family, i found excellent people who became best friends and they has been my support, helping me when i miss my town, my family. Then, because of the adaptation and the pepole i meet, i made the way to obtain my oenology degree.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to share my life experience, things i have done to be in the place i am right now, my life philosophy, i am positive person and i like to share my positivism with others.

I am a good cooker (that´s what my friends told me, i don´t know if they lie to me, you will have to check yourself), so i can cook some of the custom food here in argentina (Barbaque, Locro).
