About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Transition my life in the right direction
ABOUT ME
Generally cheerful, sociable, honest lad; can be incredibly absent-minded. Am lucky enough to be able to travel for his work sometimes to my favourite continent Africa.
PHILOSOPHY
Common sense and rationality are in most situations the main way of going about in life. Science is the key to understanding. Being critical is essential. Positivity and creativity can make life brilliant and keep it interesting.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I host as much as I can, but not to people who do not show they have read my profile. In the summer of 2010 I hosted 3 awesome Couchsurfers, so my opinion about the network becomes more and more jubilant. I make use of the network myself whenever I find it suitable.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Couchsurfed twice in Lille, twice in Paris, thrice in Emilia Romagna, Italy, once in Maastricht, once in Mumbai and once in Kuala Lumpur. Hosted various people. Have been attending several activities and drinks with CS-Utrecht. Also, CS helped me building up a social life in Chennai. In Trivendram it brought me into contact with Corentine, who consequently brought me in contact with Couchsurfer Nick, who happened to make a BBC radio-documentary about the same topic as I was doing research about. CS has brought me a lot!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
After visiting Tata houses in Nadoba, in the Tamberma Valley in North-East Togo, with my travel partner from Oregon, sitting on the back of a moto on a dirt road, while the rain was pouring down on us, lightning and thunder in the hilly back scene, fully accepting that my driver was about to slide away for a second time, but he didn't.
