I’m a graphic designer at branding house in Bandung, focusing in Identity design. I’m 25 yo who still reads printed books, doing analogue cameras, and kind of fine art, music & movie enthusiast.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I was born in Bandung from my 2 beloved mom & dad. My dad is a Bugisnese from Ujung Pandang and my mother is a Sundanese in Bandung. In short, I made a promise (in Feb 2017) that I would go to visit my father land in Sulawesi just like my father did go to Bandung through a road trip (i choose to not use airplane in purpose to feel the same way with my father did once). Unpredictable, my father passed away in March 2017 because of his Cancer. I’ve got no hints to go for road trip to Sulawesi cause in no time my father unable to share the story with me. And here we are, in this October 2017, I sum up all my savings and go to Sulawesi. When I share this story, all my friends recommended this app for me, and I hope I get the same impression as my friends do.

I’m on a solo-trip to find a meaning, fullfilled my beloved father wishes to visit my long distance family in Sulawesi by a road trip (in Indonesia is “Napak Tilas”) and along the way I will do a little research and design investigation for my initiative project about Indonesia Identity Design. I hope I can find kind-hearted friends here and lets talk about life, empathy, tolerance and other values in life. Thank you.
