About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Adventuring and learning as many languages as I can!

ABOUT ME

I'm a very outgoing person who really loves exploring new places and meeting new people. I know this might sound cliché, but it is 100% true. I will talk your ear off, but I also really like hearing other people's crazy stories. I always ask myself "would this make a good story?" when I am considering doing something.

As far as adventuring goes, I believe even an evening in your hometown can be made into an adventure if you have the right attitude.

I'm am intrigued by other cultures and find that what I learn while traveling often teaches much more than a classroom lecture. This is exactly why I want to be a part of the couch surfing community-I want to be able to talk to people who actually live in the places I am visiting rather than just see a museum (though museums are cool too).

PHILOSOPHY

Well behaved women rarely make history.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm currently studying abroad in Rabat, Morocco and am very open to meeting up with people for coffee (homestay situation doesn't really allow for hosting right now). I definitely want to host CS'ers when I get back to Boston for my senior year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met up with Dan Weinstein for coffee in Rabat so I guess that counts as my first CS experience. It was really fun to share my stories with someone else and hear about his travels around the world.

Hopefully I can update this more after my adventure in Spain!

Interests

Language learning, words, stoops, French, Clytemnestra and Greek tragedies, development in sub-Saharan Africa, traveling, red nail polish, singing in the middle of the street, writing, chandeliers, photography, hobbit sized doors with the doorknob in the middle, trains, good good music.
