Overview
About Me
Hi :). I'm Aurelia from Warsaw, Poland. I’ve been living in Germany with my boyfriend for a while, working in as a babysitter and nursery cartaker, and developing my game dev projects in my free time (mostly learning programming ^^). I’ve been thinking about taking a longer, slow paced trip to Asia for quite some time now, and I figured there’ss no better time then right now, so - here I am! I started with Thailand and volunteered via Workaway, and in September I’m planning on visiting other countries. Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan - we’ll see where I end up going ;).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to experience places I visit from local's perspective, not just as a tourist. I'm not always a social butterfly and I easily get overwhelmed with new places, people and experiences, so for me Couchsurfing is maybe a little bit more challenging than traditional ways of travelling, but I believe that it is also more enriching and can really be an amazing experience for both a guest and a host

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huge fan of Depeche Mode ^^. I also love horror movies and horror stories in general.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left my corporate job in Poland and went to Japan, where I spent almost half a year travelling around the country, doing all sorts of volunteer work and meeting a lot of interesting people, not only from Japan but from all over the world.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd be happy to share my interests, Polish culture and also to have some interesting discussions (perhaps about philosophy, since it was my major :)). I love cooking, so I’d love to share some recepies for Polish dishes! Or some weird Asian-European fusion vegan cusine, because that’s what I mostly eat hahahah
