Hey!

My name is Aura Montenegro and I am from Colombia.

I currently live in Aberdeen, Scotland UK, I work as a Additional Support Needs Worker with adults with special needs in Camphill School Aberdeen. Right now my main goal is to travel around Scotland and other countries, meeting new people and sharing experiences. Of course, you can come to my place too, it's not a big room but can accommodate at least one person or two.

I am from Cali Colombia (the world capital of salsa, dance), before coming to Scotland I used to work as a researcher at a university in my city. Since last year I started traveling and I realized that really is something that I enjoy and would like to continue doing it for a long time.

Three years ago, a close friend told me about Couchsurfing and could not believe it, it really is an excellent opportunity to meet new people and help others with the dream of knowing the world.

I am an open-minded person, I love to laugh and dance. I enjoy good food (I love cooking and I do it well), I am a creative person and I do well with crafts. I like outdoor activities, nature and animals, I like cycling and hiking, I like sports.

Almost always try to find the positive side of all situations, I'm an easygoing person and I am happy to help others.
