Overview
About Me
As a new member on this site, I am lucky that i already had my first experience with hosting a lovely girl from Canada in my home. I really enjoyed the exchange and the spirit of travelling and learning new things about the world :)
Now I'm on my own big journey through Canada and also enjoy staying at others homes, making new friends and meeting very interesting people. I also enjoy just reading everything on this site, visiting the groups here and learning so much!
I am so excited, how many different groups, themes, informations, tips, interesting people... i can find here! And how polite and respectful (as far as I could see ;-) ) everyone is discussing here!
For giving you a little overview, here are some informations about me:
I like the pure and simple way of life and travelling, i don't need luxury. I'm very easy going and always optimistic.
I am a happy and friendly person, curious for new things. I am active and outgoing, i love animals and being in nature...
I was born and raised in the very south of Germany near the Lake of Constance. Currently i live together with my boyfriend and my dog in Munich, but in fall we will move back to the Lake of Constance. In Munich i work in a childrens daycare and i really love my work!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really like to experience other cultures, seeing new countries and share these experiences with others who have the same interests.
I think, here we can find new friends, exchange our knowledge, give each other help and tips... It's a great opportunity here for many things!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- A few years ago together with my older sister we travelled for two weeks on horseback through Germany
- Walking 40 kilometres in 8 hours without pause just to see how long i can walk :-)
Teach, Learn, Share
What can I teach or share with other people? I had to think about that question for a while...
Now I came to the point, that everyone has a knowledge, another doesn't have, so we can always learn from each other.
For example I can:
- trimm the hoofs of your horse (if it is barehoof)
- walk your dog
- entertain your cat
- babysit your kids
- (because of my profession) give you advice for everything around kids and babies and raising and educating them
- teach you the german language
- teach you the cyrillic (russian) alphabet
- sew, knit and so on, what is gone broken
- draw or paint something for you
- teach you techniques of self defense (i started exercising Krav Maga a few months ago)
Beside that I think we can always share thoughts, stories, experiences...
:-)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Laughter, bad humor, my mediocre cooking skills, silence, experiences... :-)
I think CS is a way of give and take and I am always up to help and do whatever i can and is needed, when i am guest at your home. For example i'm very good in fixing things :-)
