About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be fluent in Japanese - learn other languages

ABOUT ME

Even if I'm studying administrative law, that doesn't mean I'm a boring person ;). I love meeting new people, learning about other cultures and languages. I'm especially interested in Asian cooking, I'm really fond of the food everywhere I've been in Asia yet, it is very different one country from another and also very different from French cooking.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd like to think that everybody has a good side. I might sound a bit naive but I really would be able to trust people, and I think that couchsurfing really helps me in this way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mainly surfed at other people homes, but I've met such wondeful people that I want to be more active in the Couchsurfing community and host people myself !

Interests

I'm interested in music, I play the guitar but now mainly the ukulele (it's easier to bring with me when I travel !). I love pop/rock/psyche music from the 60's-70's from Asian countries, I think that one of my favourite CDs is a mix of different Japanese singers from the 60's.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm very fond of Wes Anderson's movies, and also those of Ghibli studio (especially "Whisper of Heart")
My favorite music artist is Damon Albarn, and I cannot decide which from Blur and Gorillaz I prefer ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think one of my best memories is an afternoon spent with friends in a tea house near Taipei, we drank so much tea we were shaking as if we had drunk 2 liters of coffee ! I think Taiwan is the place where you can become a tea-addict, thanks to Bubble Tea...

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to improve my Japanese, and maybe one day be fluent! Also, I'm very fond of local music, traditional instruments.
I can teach you French and some French recipes if you want :)

Countries I’ve Visited

China, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Japan
