ABOUT ME

It's always a bit hard to describe yourself...but I'll try. Well, I'd see myself as a dreamer. Like everyone in CS I guess, I LOVE traveling, and meeting new people. I am open-minded, curious, dreamer, and my friends define me as "the adventurer" or "the risk taker". I'm not that old but my life as been full of "up & down", and now I' ok with that, I hate routine, and I know that "after every down there is an up" :) "Life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs...but it's your choice to either scream or enjoy the ride". So I decided to enjoy the ride... It seems pretty stupid but it is true that "what doesn't kill you make you stronger", and traveling teaches me some life lesson. I have encountered amazing people who have changed my life. For some of them life wasn't easy neither, but then it's a matter of perception and positivism. Life is what you make of it, and when you live with an open heart, unexpected goodness happen.
I like to discover new cultures, listen, share the experiences. I also like to get out of my confort zone and think outside the box.
To sum up I would say "I am everything and his opposite", depending on the situation. I can be very talkative sometimes, and also very shy. I like to meet people but also need time for myself from time to time. I am easy-going but also can be serious when needed... want to know more ? just contact me !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was hosted a few times in the US and Italy; I met incredible nice people, I also went to some CS gathering in Singapore and that was lots of fun, and from time to time I organized something or joined in Berlin, and started also in Brussels. I've hosted in Brussels but now I'm "on the road again", I don't know where I'll settle down next... I'll be in Thailand, Philippins and Sri Lanka from may until august, maybe we can meet somewhere :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a CS since 1 year now and love this concept. I know that wherever I'll be, If I feel alone, bored... I can just write a message in CS and meet amazing members of the CS community. That's just incredible !
My 1st CS experience : Vegas, July 2012. I was new on CS so I took time to chose carefully my host: good reviews, common interests, host both guys and girls... and the experience was even better than expected ! We had so much fun with Kostan than after our 2 days in Vegas, than he took days off and we went together to LA & SF... My first week in the US - first first CS experience will stay memorable !

Interests

I like to write, to take pictures (even if I'm not good, I enjoy it) to laugh, to talk (and listen). And I really LOVE to swim ! I have probably been a fish in another life, I feel SO GOOD in the water ! My dream is to live in an island. I love new challenges and adventures. I'm interested by entrepreneurship,and hopefully 1 day... I would like to be able to work from anywhere and spend a nomadic life. I wish I could never settle... my friends start to get married and have baby, I'm far from that and I'm happy to meet people with the same state of mind. I enjoy my independance and freedom :) Oh, I almost forgot : I LOVE Sunset :)

Of course traveling is my passion, the world we live in is a very vast and abundant planet with a lot of things to do and experience, it is simply impossible to see all of it in a single lifetime, but i'll try my best :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm eclectic, I like different kind of music, depending on the mood and the atmosphere, from U2, Radiohead, Coldplay, Queen, Oasis, Air, Angus and Julia Stone, Birdy, Eddie Vedder, Bon Iver, Scorpions, The Fray, the XX, the Verve, Red Hot, Lana Del Ray, Parov Stelar, paul kalkbrenner, to french song: Gainsbourg,... passing by Bob Marley or the Beatles, or even Adele... and so much more ! I like to listen to electro when I go out, but never when I'm alone at home. I like to discover new artists and going to musical festival

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've swim with sharks in Malaysia, slept on a roof under the stars, paraglided in Bali, went inside the Burj al Arab (most luxurious hotel in the world in Dubai), went in the top of the highest tower in the world (Burj Khalifa, also in Dubai), got a Tatoo in Bali, went to the full moon party in Thailand, slept in a Bat cave in Malaysia (I have a phobia of bats!), went to the festival of Pampelona in Spain, was a barmaid in Malta, I was living in Berlin 6 months (do I really need to say more ? Awesome!)... hope the craziest things I'll do in my life are ahead !

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not sure to have any artistic skills (I would like to be an artist, I'm living in Berlin surronded by artists, but I didn't discover yet my area !). I like to take pictures but I'm not a professional, I don't play any musical instrument... But I love to share about travel, dreams, life... discover new culture, learn, and exchange about mine... and I've already teach french !
