About Me

I discovered the spirit of Couchsurfing when I was having a conversation with a very good friend about the trip I was about to start across Europe. Years ago, he did a trip in the Bulgarian mountains, in a remote village. There was only one couchsurfer there (and it was quite surprising to actually find one). It happened to be an engineer who changed his life and became a farmer. As he wanted to keep in touch with his previous international and cultural world, he was hosting guests almost every day. After that, I wanted to experiment CS :)

I'm travelling across Europe to lead a project : www.ordinaryhappypeople.com or on facebook : https://www.facebook.com/ordinaryhappypeople

The most important thing when I travel is to meet new people (even in the street) and to learn little secrets about the city (it can be only a special painting on a wall or anything that is unique).

I'm very respectfull and always happy to help. I like to laugh, to discover many different things, I'm passionate about people or discussions about life, philosophy, art, or whatever.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, to share whatever I can share, and be welcomed by a city :)

Interests

In the city I usually drive a bike or walk a lot.
As hobbies, I do improv theatre (on stage and teaching).
I also love nature, the sea and the mountain, I do rockclimbing, and hiking.
I love to help people find their talents and a way to express it, I love to do little crazy things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm easily amazed by things, so I could tell you about many amazing things i've done, just because I have a child spirit :) I also love to hear stories about people who did amazing things that I admire because I couldn't picture myself doing them.

I can tell you a funny story about how I re-discovered Couchsurfing. One night, I went to the theatre with a very good friend. When the play ended, we were tired and ready to come home. We walked a few meters together and found a wallet on the street. We were trying to find out who was the unfortunate owner of the wallet and how we could contact him, without success, when a man came. We asked him where was the nearest police station. He answered us and left. After that, we finally found an ID immigrant card in the wallet. When I saw the face on it, I said "this is the man we just met !" The guy came back and crossed the street again. We called him loud, he was a bit scared that some people were screaming his name. He had no idea that he had lost his wallet. He was so grateful that he gave us 10 euros. We refused of course, but it seemed to be very important for him. So we took them, went to have a beer in a bar, and that's the moment when my friend told me about couchsurfing and all the wonderful things he thinks about it. Without this lost wallet, I won't be here again :)
