About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel, travel and travel

ABOUT ME

Hi there!
I'm Aurélie, I'm French and I'm a French and Spanish teacher for foreigners.
For now, I worked as a teacher one year in London and one year in Saltillo (Mexico) and 6 months in Taipei, 1 year and a half in Tacna (Peru) and now I'm working in Puebla (Mexico).

Like almost everyone here, one of the things I like the most in life in travelling!
I love meeting new people and share experiences, that's why I got an account in CouchSurfing. I think there are a lot of interesting people and hopefully I'll get the chance to meet a lot of them during my next trips!

I love photography. A lot.
I both shoot digital and analogue.

I really enjoy going for a drink and having nice talks around a beer :)

I used to be very shy, but since I started to travel by myself, I really got better and now I talk with everybody, even in the street ahah. That's why I really like CS: travelling alone and having to talk to people I didn't know helped me to cure my shyness, so I just want to keep going this way, host and meet people :)
(I'm still quite unconfortable when I'm with a loooot of people at the same time ahah)

PHILOSOPHY

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've started to host people while I was in Taipei, and I loved the experience.
I hosted some people in Peru and hopefully I'll be able to host more people in Mexico.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Once, I met someone from CS for a drink because she was new in town and wanted to meet new people. We became good friends and spent the whole year together and going out :)

I had great moments with all my hosts and I hope to have more in the future and have opportunities to host people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled alone in mexico for 2 weeks from Cancun to Puebla. It was the best experience in my life! I travelled in bus and stayed in hostels.. met some great people from many coutries! It may seem to be a normal trip for everyone but this one was my first one so it's very important for me.

Not long ago, I travelled alone for 25 days in Thailand. It was one of the most amazing experience. I met so many people and seen such beautiful things. I highly recommend this country
