My name is Aurélien. I come from Luxembourg an I am currently a history student in Strasbourg.

Apart from history, I am interested in a lot of topics and I would enjoy having great discussions with the people I meet. Travelling is very important to me. It allows me to meet new people an foreign cultures, to confront myself with other mentalities and different points of view. The purpose is to move, to leave the routine and the comfort zone of live and to enjoy the diversity of our world. Travelling makes me modest when I think of the tiny place I occupy on the planet's surface.

Couchsurfing is an amazing way to travel and meet people who live in the places I visit. Hotels or hostels cannot give you the same experience as living and sharing with local people .

Concerning music I am born some decades to late. I especially like blues and rock music but I am always open to new things. I cannot get enough of Pink Floyd.

I really appreciate literature and there are a lot of books that could come to my mind. I obviously also read a lot of history books and I am especially interested in the first world war.
