Aurelien is a singer and songrwiter in the metal band Assent. He also plays the bass and percussions. He loves video games and has owned almost every game console that came out since the nineties.
Sophie loves building stuff. She makes lamps, decoration, furniture, you name it. She also loves knitting.

Music, Movies, and Books

We watch a great deal of Netflix. Our current faves as a couple are Doctor Who, The Fabulous Mrs Maisel (on Prime), The Crown, The OA, Better Call Saul and Stranger Things. Aurelien also watches The Expanse and Sophie watches Outlanders.

We got married in Las Vegas with two Team USA Roller Derby skaters as witnesses. Beat that.

Teach, Learn, Share

Aurelien is a former English teacher who became a teacher specialized in kids with special needs (mainly dyslexia and autism). He loves teaching stuff to people and is always ready to learn something new. He'll also sing with whoever can play a few chords on the guitar. Sophie is more of an introvert, but once she opens up she loves talking about current events, politics and social issues. Feminism is a common topic of interest.
