Overview
About Me
Hi,
My family lives in a little village Warlingham which is close to London. I do not live in the centre of London. The transport to London is good and the trains to London go from Upper Warlingham and Croydon Train stations. The closest airport is Gatwick. Please be aware that Stansted and Luton airports are on the other side of London and it could take up to 2.30 hours to get to our house.
Warlingham is a small village surrounded by woods and lovely fields. We often as a family enjoy going for long walks with our dogs Rottweiler Roxy and Beagle Leo.
Currently we are in a process of renovating our house. Therefore the house is quite messy.
I am very lucky to live in this community base, very beautiful and peaceful village. Before I start my working day I enjoy taking dogs for long walks in the woods where I can see beautiful llamas too. I work as psychotherapist with children, adults and teenagers. My work also involves working a lot with adopted children and children/young people with special needs.
My husband Dominic is into running . Therefore every morning when our cats Betsy and Whiskey wake him up he goes for a long run around our area.
Our daughters Emilia 10 years old and Isabelle 8 years old are very active and creative girls. They enjoy playing in the woods, climbing the trees, cooking marshmallows on the fires and most of all they love camping. Also both of them love dancing, trampolining and gymnastics.
Emilia likes making and organising parties, trips and outings for the whole family. She is into arts too. Most of our house walls are decorated by her lovely drawings and paintings.
Isabelle is a bouncy girl and she loves teaching everyone how to do yoga, gymnastics and quite often we would find her being upside down on one of our sofa's :)
We do not have a tidy house! Our house is messy as we always are doing, making, creating, sewing, glueing, cutting, drawing, cooking and playing.
Our family enjoys having lots of fun :)
Our family enjoys hosting couch surfers and workaways as long as all our guests respects our family life, does not arrive late at the night, respects our children and pets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We have been hosting couchsurfers for the last 3 years. This gave as opportunities to meet lovely people from many different places. Most of them ended up being our friends and we keep in touch with them.
Our girls are home educated and they like meeting new people, learning new things and having fun with our visitors.
We enjoy traveling and staying with other couch surfers. Often most enjoyable thing for the girls, me and my husband is meeting people, experiencing local life without being obsessed by touristic attractions.
Emilia and Isabelle enjoy playing with children rather than visiting 'famous' places. They discovering new countries' culture by engaging and playing with local kids.
So far we had lovely couchsurfing experiences. The girls and us made new friends and had discovered new traditions, games, improved our French and Spanish language skills. Also we had amazing experiences with couchsurfing families in Prague, Santiago, Hamburg, Barselona, Croatia and Pesaro. All families which hosted us were more than amazing.
Our house is small and we do not have a lot of space for couchsurfers. However we can offer a small single room were 2 people can stay. Also we have hosted families in our living room and the girls' room with bunk beds :) We want our guests to feel comfortable in our house and often invite our guests to join us at dinner time or other meal times. We are a busy family, but also a family which tries to make an effort to show you our area, to go on a trips together or just to have a relaxing evening at the local park.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
All of our family walked the last 117km of Camino de Santiago this April! I am so proud of my little girls to be able to walk such a distance in 6 days.
Together with my husband Dominic and two friends we walked 100km day and night without any sleep for Oxfam Charity.
I also did Ride The Night 100km cycling during the night.
Two years ago I walked Camino De Norte.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my philosophy about the life.
My traveling and family stories.
I can share a magic of meditations.
My girls could teach yoga, trampolining, gymnastics and story massages.
My husband Dominic is perfect at making jokes and making everyone laugh until the tummies hurt.
As Dominic and I are working and have kids, before requesting to stay at our family house be aware that we are not the family which will be able to do parties, bar nights and late outings to the town.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We are a happy, relaxed and easy going family. I hope we could spread this lovely feeling to the hosts too.
Emilia is a very good story teller and she is keen to share her stories with others. Isabelle is bundle of joy. She is very active and very keen to show others how to do gymnastics. We are happy to share our knowledge about yoga, story telling and mediations.
