About Me

I am an open-minded person and love to show my beautiful region of Cantabria to those opened to grasp the beauty of the landscape and the people.
Also open to any human being that wants to show his culture and lifestyle in a friendly easygoing way .
Send me a personalized detailed request to stay in my place (or just to meet or do some activity together) . You can use these guidelines for it:

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music of the world, flamingo, New Age, rock, salsa sometimes to wake up, sometimes to sleep. Better reggae to drive, salsa to cook and meditation music to sleep.
Any good film with a message though prefer those based on novels or that show a different way, country or lifestyle.
I read books at random on buddhism, zen, yoga and the like mostly at night for daily inspiration. Masters like Tenzin Gyatso, Nhat Hanh, Sadhguru, Patanjali. Also on medicinal plants, travelling,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This year I started to hike a day a week to discover my region and found amazing new places , landscapes and people. Outer travel and inner travel go together for me.
In the past living in Japan, meeting people with inner peace like Dalai Lama in Graz, or Nhat Hanh in Plum Village,... He said that time is more important than gold, time is life. Nobody can buy time. We are free to use it with a purpose or waste it. We should walk mindfully on earth leaving a trace of peace with every step in every human being we meet in the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

All human beings should teach what they know, learn what they do not know and share the best of their experience. However some people can only point at the moon, real travellers go there. Life cannot be taught but experienced . Suffering and pleasure are both great masters. But a sunset, a baby laugh or just mindful breathing can be a greater direct knowledge than all the books in the world. The book of your life , that one, you must write it yourself with your heart and conscience. Nobody can write it for you. You write it with every step on the unwalked paths of this inmensity surrounding us. You cry when you are born, and should laugh when you die. That is a meaninful life. To follow the paths of the heart to the very last breath.
