About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Simple: just meet new people !
ABOUT ME
Self-descriptions are always a bit difficult. About my personality, let's say that... I'm very very curious :-) I'm more the intellectual than the partying type (although I'm definitely the shopping-addict type) but I'm always ready to follow enthusiastic people for an evening out! I'm also good at helping others, giving excellent advice that I cannot follow myself :-p
I like to move, settle and see whatever I can see and enjoy in a place, usually it lasts for a few years and then the "adventure wind" starts blowing and I feel like moving again :) This is how I ended up in Rennes, then abroad in Dublin and Sydney, then Lille, then Toulouse, and now Lyon !
I'm a "quote junkie" and love to discover new languages, proverbs, idioms or any kind of wisdom from different cultures. It all started with my English studies but extends to other languages now.
I also believe I can be happy anywhere as long as the sea is at a walking distance :-)
PHILOSOPHY
From the idea that you only regret things you never do, I like to be free to go wherever I want, try whatever seems interesting to me and keep learning. Actually, I like very much Gandhi's philosophy : "live as if you were to die tomorrow - learn as if you were to live forever" !
I also think everything in life can look different with a solid sense of humour :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Rather limited so far, but planning to enjoy it more :-)
Interests
I'm interested in learning anything new, I love the sea and skiing (no relation whatsoever), I like good wine and food (I know, being French, what a cliché)... Maybe I can also add photography, all types of music (I play the flute), and Breton / celtic culture.
Right now I have a more specific interest in learning Spanish and latin dancing dut to a very short trip to Colombia during which I met fantastic people.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There are many things, but a funny one I remember is watching the gay pride in Sydney and seeing one of my English teachers in the parade, wearing tiny shorts with the Aussie flag printed on them and running after his friends!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French and English, some French cooking recipes, how to ride a bike and swim. I'm interested in learning latin dancing (salsa, bachata, merengue...) and Spanish.
