About Me

I haven't been in Couchsurfing for a while but here I am again! Glad to be back.

I'm open-minded and eager to explore various lifestyles and perspectives. Rather than passing judgment, I thrive on experimentation and gaining insight from different viewpoints. I enjoy immersing myself in coffee culture, traveling, reading, unleashing my imagination, discovering new music by attending to concerts and soaking in the beauty of urban and natural landscapes.
I find fulfillment in completing projects and embracing anything that adds meaning and purpose to life. For me, freedom is invaluable.

My favorite quote probably is:

Sempiterna Temptatio. Often I tell myself that nothing in the world, except for an eternal order or a strange caprice of matter striving to surpass itself, explains why I strive to think each day with a little more clarity than the previous one.
Marguerite Yourcenar (Opus Nigrum)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've used Couchsurfing only a couple of times and has been a great experience. First time in Girona, Spain, and second one in Weimar, Germany, and both times were fantastic. It's not just about finding a place to stay; it's about exploring the city, making new friends, and sharing experiences. I have also used the now-defunct Globalfreeloaders for Toulouse and Lyon in France, and in Vienna, Austria.

I also enjoy the sense of it as a global community bound together by a shared love for exploration, connection, and adventure. It's a reminder that the world is vast and beautiful, filled with endless opportunities to learn, grow, and forge meaningful connections with fellow wanderers along the way.

I'll definitely try to be here more often, not just when traveling but also while at home!

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach/Share: I would prefer to think of sharing rather than teaching: My experience of music, language, and insights from my travels into various cultures. Good conversations over a cup of coffee or tea to talk about books, movies, life, and anything substantial.

Learn: I'm eager to learn about different musical traditions, local cuisines, local dances, languages, etc.
