About Me

I'd like to take you to outdoor places around my house. I live beside a little stream. It enters a river 5 meters further down. We can go to places alongside that river by bike or walk inside the river.

Here it's cold from November to March. Still if you join me, we could go to a place beside that river one village away for the night to do extreme survival.

Around here to be in the nature sleeping at night is doable. There are no major risks for adults. There are no dangers beside getting dirty or wet or cold. -I am prepared. I bought a good sleeping bag lately and also cooking material to use outdoors.

I would like to meet people that enjoy driving by bike. Therefore I too bought a good bike. The hills are steep around here, good brakes are a must. Everything gets flat, once passed over a 800Meter hill, looking down onto the east of switzerland. In the distance there is lake Bodensee. It's a 3 hour bike tour to the Bodenseee from here.

I bought a plastic boat. We can visit Zurich and go onto the lake with it and sleep in a park I once tested.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people at my wooden cottage. To make use of the extra space I have. To have company for the several projects I want to do.

Interests

I like the nature in it's simplest form. Sit beside a fire and hear the river floating. I like cooking lentils and quinoa with different herbs and eating chocolate treats and such and driving with my bike and Seinfeld, Ricky Gervais and not so much more.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like best the book I am about to read. Every new book is cool. Charles Bukoviski and Boris Vian I like and The catcher in the Rye of course. I read about 1000 books in my life sofar.

Movies I would want to see again are by David Lynch Mullhollanddrive and Tarantinos Kill Bills and Legally Blonde (for the happy make factor). I liked the dude and absolutely love Jailbait by Rainer Werner Fassbinder, also E

I like dance music best. I try to make use of the music to push me to do fitness.

Paul Kalkbrenner I listen to since 2010. I like him in general. Maceo Plex boiler room mix is outstanding. I like all music by Maya Jane Cole. Sometime I need to listen to songs too: Mayor Lazor, Grimes and Santigold I discovered, bevor they got widely known.

Maria Callas and the ringing of the Bells of Cathedrals is a hobby of mine. And I like Amy Winehouse of course.

Hitparade is disgusting, because it's screaming mostly. The ones mentioned above form an exeption thereof. -There is healing sounds like dolphin and wales singing that I like to listen to on Youtube.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I sure saved a life once. I am publishing the diary I wrote when I was 13. This feels amazing right now.

Teach, Learn, Share

Assist on trips inthis part of Switzerland and be a help with access to shower, toilett, electricity and water and camping site for one vehicle max. 3meters to 5meters.

I have done major art works in video and photography and have painted some well done works too. I am a good cook and have my own approach in health and politics/history/religion. I can run for 2 hours steady or get up a hill 200meters by bike at once. I am well equipped with sleeping bag, matrace, tent and such. I know Zurich very well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a house, one floor still empty. I have one bed in there with a blow up matrace. I could imagine You sleeping there in the summer. In winter it will be 6 degrees Celsius, so one would need a good sleeping bag or rather stay in the main living area beside the oven.

Shower and Toilett inside I can share with guests.

The Countryside around the house is like in a fairy tale .

At the moment I own two bikes. If we don't go far, I can use the bad one and You get to drive my good bike. The other one has broken breaks.

If couples or single travellers with tents want to stay on my property, that is doable too. There is place for a five meters long and 3 meters wide car right beside the house and many tents alongside the 15 meters of the little stream bordering my property.
