About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the world and make new friends everywhere I go!
ABOUT ME
I am a military-brat who has traveled all his life, was born in a city I don't remember quite well, grew up somewhere else and then some. It's always been like this - I have constantly been on the move. After finishing my education and couple of years in Kolkata, I am now based in Delhi and lead a life full of small trips.
I have never had a home. Travelling is the only way I find that home, even briefly so.
I play the violin, I know martial arts, I blog, I sing and I have tonnes of friends who are all awesome in their own right. I want to see the world but my limited resources have come in the way. Not anymore! :) Hit me if you think
PHILOSOPHY
Think of me as a guy with a chilled beer sitting at the sea-shore listening to 80's rock. That's how I am, inside, 24x7. I live my life 1 day at a time. Past hurts sometimes, but the happiness of the future, which is in my hands and mine alone, makes me snap back to reality.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'd love to not just meet new people and make memories but would love to support the right causes. Back in Kolkata, I was an active member of 2 NGOs and I'd love to take it forward here.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I had just finished college and was looking for something different. Travelling alone has always been an exciting thing I was just too afraid to jump into. And then I did it! I was on a train to a relative known destination - Darjeeling, north Bengal, India. I got down and searched for a home stay. I didn't know about Couchsurfing.org back then or else that would have taken care of it. The experience was beautiful. I made a friend and that helped me get a whole new perspective to the beautiful town. Regardless to say, I have been back to the place from time to time.

Music, Movies, and Books
I had studied film-studies back in college, got to learn so much. I listen to music that has good lyrics. I am an amateur reader. Suggest me some books, eh?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Helped over 2500 street kids celebrate the festivals with new clothes. Massive coordination with hundreds of volunteers across a large city.
