Overview
About Me
I'm easy going, friendly and fun. When I travel, I like to make friends with the locals and discover sweet spots off the beaten path. Through the years, I've made connections around the world, some of them have become solid friendships.
As a guest, I'm very respectful of the space I am in and the people in it, and in general, I tend to spend most of my day outside anyway. I'm responsible with other people's property and will most certainly take care of your place as if it was mine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I'd like to travel for the rest of my life, hopefully, and couchsurfing can connect me to people and places I wouldn't have access to otherwise.

Music, Movies, and Books
Musically, I can probably find something I like in every genre, from indonesian pop stars from the 60's to Judas Priest. As long as it has some sweet beat to it.
My husband is a particularly fantastic guitar player, and he is equally modest about it.
Movies are my thing, and I am always trying to watch it all voraciously. I watch a lot of foreign-artsy films, but I am as easily excited by a new Almodovar flick or by watching Mean Girls for the 20th time.
Books used to be huge in my life, but then I got Skyrim and suddenly there's no time to read. Need to get back on that train.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once won a lipsync contest with a mashup between Annie's "It's a hard knock life" and the Jay Z version. I had a chola costume under my orphan apron. Good times.
I also ice skated on the frozen Yukon River, played saxophone in a disco band, and did all kinds of strange things under the midnight sun (and northern lights!).
And I can tie a knot on a cherry stem with my tongue.
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach stuff all the time, even when I don't know the subject. I am legit good at cooking though, and I can teach you Spanish.
