Overview
About Me
I'll try.
I may not always be the most inviting-looking individual -I space out a lot, maybe - but I'm actually really approachable and we can talk about anything really.
Except sports.
I may watch it if there's beer, but I won't promise anything.
People seem to like me after they get to know me. When they don't know me there's usually a larger variety of feelings happening, and I'm usually unaware.
I was raised amongst 3 boys (today, men) in Brasilia, Rio de Janeiro and Minas.
I ran away (not really) to Finland at 16 and conquered Sydney and Florida at 19-20 and now established my empire's base in Denmark.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like to live dangerously.
And because of how surprisingly cool it is to meet new people and new places, break stereotypes and open one's horizons.
Im starting the volunteer rampage in Brazil, and move through Europe and Asia for the next year( 2016).
Interests
I love animals and nature in general.
I'd rather relocate a spider with my hands than kill it, but roaches are the anti-christ for me.
I like anything to do with logical thinking and problem-solving.
And I'm very curious about cultures and human, animal and environmental behavior/interaction.
I love walking.
I'm very into helping (in so many levels and ways) and traveling. I'll be starting a rampage of volunteer work of an average 9 months in South America and Asia. All sustainable development/environment, child and animal care related. So I might not be much of a host just yet.

Music, Movies, and Books
I spoon with my laptop on Netflix more often than I'd like to admit.
In fact, as you read this, I'm probably doing it.
I love movies.
It doesn't matter what kind, there's a right time for all of them.
I like huge robots blowing up stuff in the face of even bigger monsters to a really energetic soundtrack that I'll probably hear while I'm working out as much as the next person. I also like deep stuff that will most likely make me cry when I watch it by myself but I'll deny it for the rest of my days.
Donnie Darko, Mr.Nobody, The matrix, LOTR, Star Wars, Serenety, Firefly, V for Vendetta, Black Swan, The Help, The new spider man that Gwen dies, All marvel movies, Harry Potter, Inglorious bastards, Guy Ritchie and Tarantino's movies, Old west, musicals, etc. Did I mention I love movies?
And animation. Mostly sarcastic humor comedy-action. If you know and/or like South Park, Archer, Drawn Together, Bojack Horseman, Ugly Americans or similar, you know. But I'll wallow in nostalgia with you on old Disney cartoons any day.
I like watching cooking-show-competitions while I'm eating, for no good reason.
And I watch series and movies of which I have read the books to nag about how crappy the adaptation is.
But keep me out of any sort of thriller/horror if you treasure your sleep.
Also, if you have a bookshelf it is in serious risk of being attacked.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life's full of amazing things.
I got a reindeer's driver license in Lapland, saw my twin in the sky (aurora borealis) and swam in the frozen ocean after sauna.
I drank a cocktail at each bar at bondi junction until -- I don't remember what happened.
I magically made friends with a bunch of baby kangaroos.
I nourished a baby bat until he learned to fly and left me to eat crickets.
Went to all amusement parks in Orlando... out of season. I'll give you a minute for this one. NO LINES!
Made friends at the airport, even after loosing connection flights.
I rescue strays, all the freaking time.
Got drunk in a country and woke in another. No hangover.
Ate a predator (alligator). Deep fried. In 'murica.
Got out of a street fight with just one punch when I was a kid.
Drove across Denmark playing the longest 20-questions in human history.
Resisted Brazilian barbecue (churrasco) for over 6 months in my first try at being vegetarian.
Survived a two month trip through Europe with my family.
Teach, Learn, Share
Those whom haven't traveled don't know the real value of men.
