About Me

Hi there! My name is Aurora, I’m a graphic designer and a creative. I love traveling, dogs and meeting new people from around the world. I love history (even though I’m not very good at remembering stuff haha) and being mind blown by how it reflects in the culture and their people.

I believe in treating everything and everyone around me with respect. I’m always trying and doing my best to live up to that belief.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This year I turn 25, and I feel so excited ! I had many goals for this year and one of them was to run a half marathon. I ended up running 3 ! I also wanted to travel alone for a while, that’s why I’m on this app.

I’m on Couchsurfing to explore another way of connecting with people instead of the usual hostel experience. I think there is no way you can get to know the culture better than to explore it with a local so I’m eager to get to know you.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music and couldn’t go a day without listening to it, My Spotify says I like “Vapor Soul” genre even though I hadn’t heard of that name before. I would say I’m into Deep House but I really enjoy Classic Rock and Indie music as well.

I’m a big fan of cinema in general. I like psychological thrillers the most but I love those movies that you can’t get out of your head for a few days because they challenged the way you think about life.

Just like movies, I like books that entertain me and psychological thrillers do it quite nicely haha. This year though, I’m trying to read some other types of books like “Homo Sapiens” to learn a little bit more about history and how the hell we managed to get to where we are today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job to travel for three months around Europe. Would love to do the same thing in South America, North America and Asia someday.
