About Me

I am a 22 years old girl and I am presently studying literature at the university of Fribourg, where I live. I was born in Lugano and I am both Swiss and Italian.

Although I may seem (and actually am) very shy and introvert I love meeting new people; I find nothing more interesting than discovering how a person think, what is interested in. I am very open-minded, I do really appreciate humour and I like discussing about everything.

I am particularly keen on reading and writing but I have also many other interests: music (I sing in a choir and I play the cello), arts in general, movies, nature, walking, cooking, discovering new places, having good time with people I love and with new people as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to join Couchsurfing because I am planning a two months trip around Europe. I am going to travel alone and I want to improve in being less afraid of some social situations and in sharing what I think with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I have always listened to classical music and Italian singer-songwriters; recently I am discovering and appreciating many other kinds of music.

Movies: I like everythink which is good, I just can't stand action or too commercial movies. A very good movie I saw lately is "The disaster artist".

Books: I love reading, I am always doing it:) I like especially poetry and modern/contemporary fiction. A great book I have just read is "Rubbit, run" by John Updike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I can't choose, there are so many incredible little moments in everyday life:)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am open to discuss about anything. I am always interested in listening to people who talk about what passionate them (or just about their lives, their stories...) even when it does not correspond to my fields of interest.
