I love to learn and explore, I use couchsurfing to meet likeminded friends, and get to know people whose paths I never would have otherwise crossed. I want to learn about you, hear your stories and share experiences. I love art (and am happy to take Chicago-area visitors to museums if our schedules align), wine and good food. I try to find the hidden gems in every city I visit, and am happy to share those with other travelers.

I got to know an incredible family from Rusinga Island, Kenya who help the children in their village access food, clothing, and education. The world is harsh at times, but there are people like them who make it more beautiful. I was lucky to see it firsthand.
