ABOUT ME

I have the travelling bug! Born in London, grew up in South Africa and living in Ireland since the tender age of 13. Trip is booked, depart these waters in Feb 08, can't wait...so hopefully I will be able to hook up with some couch surfers on my travels!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the one's who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted some people, met some people for drinks and good times, participated in couchsurfing meetings and stayed on one couch.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been unofficially giving up my couch for years. Having friends I met while travelling stay as well as friends of friends! Since joining cs I have met many wonderful people from all over the world. It has been fantastic to make friends and see how other cultures tick.

Interests

I'm interested in traveling, meeting new people, catching up with old friends, going for walks along the beach, ashtanga yoga, swimming, art, discovering new cultures, interesting food(albeit vegetarian), photography, music and festivals! I love learning new things, whether it be from other people or something I teach myself. Have a passion for all things creative!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Was there for the end of the apartheid in South Africa, it was a really humbling experience, waiting in the lines of the voting stations, holding my mom's hand, with the queues reaching as far as the eye can see. People embracing the basic right to vote that they had not been allowed before.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to apply make-up, mask making, sculpture, building a basic website using dreamweaver.

Would like to learn how to play the guitar, it has been on my wishlist for ages! Also would love to learn more about photography.
