I probably didn't get this field right, but here is a fun fact:

The Earth rotates faster when there is ice age :)

Why?
Because then a huge amount of water around the equator collects as ice on the poles and stays there instead. Now, imagine sitting on a rotating chair with your arms out before you pull them up above your head. What happens? You rotate faster, right?

Somehow a like that fact a lot :)
