Overview
About Me
Peacock blue is my favorite color,
Whales are fascinating,
I love apple slices on homemade pizzas.
I'm exploring, looking for a life that makes sense to me, a sensitive poetic life, close to nature. After my studies in arts, I made a first big travel around Canada. That's where I learned to live in a different way. Backpacking, hitchhiking, woofing. It made me feel like learning new skills ; more concrete, but not less useful and fulfiling, like sailing, herbalism, permaculture... I'm in Canada again, lived in Quebec, the Rockies, the Kootenays and Haida Gwaii. Currently road tripping the west coast.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is precious to me in the way it's about spontaneous generosity and sharing without money involved. To me it's a way to discover the real face of town, an island, whatever place, with locals, people who want to share their experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really love live music and jam sessions ! I listen to jazz (Herbie Hancock, John Scofield, Herbie Mann), folk and acoustic music, Devandra Banhart for example, Allah Las. Electro chill out, minimal such as Air, Nicolas Jaar,
Bossa Nova, Antonio Carlos Jobim, french classic music with Georges Brassens,...
For movies, there is so much... Lars von Trier, Terrence Malick, Jacques Demi, Eric Rohmer, Wes Anderson, Kyoshi Kurosawa, Hayao Miyazaki, and more and more...
I loved reading Alessandro Baricco, Jean Giono, Claude Ponti, Kundera
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a 8 days kayaking expedition in Gwaii Haanas, this wonderful remote and wild parc on the Canadian West coast (Haida Gwaii), where sea lions, orcas, humpbacks, sun fishes and black bears chill in peace, out of human civilisation.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like cooking and I start learning baking too. I love music and I'll be happy to share references (I also have an harmonica I need to learn), same for movies. I love to share travel experiences, it makes me feel like eating the world !
